South End, Charlotte
Having worked in the South End area for several design firms, I have a special love for this neighborhood. It has a beautiful mix of restaurants, retail, and an overall creative culture. Many of the buildings were formerly cotton mills that have been preserved and restored, which gives it a lot of historic character. It’s, without a doubt, one of my favorite spots in Charlotte. This design references the hand-painted, detailed, and ornate signs of that era.
